Description

An easy going trail from Walupt Lake Campground along the edge of Walupt Lake, passing the trail to the summit of Nannie Ridge after only a very short distance. The trail unfortunately heads a short distance away from the lake so there are not that many completely open views to the lake along the way. After the lake and about 2.25 miles along, the trail rapidly climbs along a set of switchbacks. The trail then slopes gently again for a little over a mile to the Pacific Crest Trail.

Easy hike along the lake, but too woody to ever get a great view. Look for hidden paths down to the lake's edge for better scenery. 2mi — 2h 00m
