Description

This Trail heads west from Sitton Peak Trail and steeply ascends Sitton Peak. The trail is rocky and a little sketchy in places but the views are worth it. On clear days there are excellent views of Modjeska and Santiago Peak, Mt. San Gorgonia, Mt. San Jacinto, and of course the Pacific Ocean.

Flora & Fauna

Oaks and other trees, brush and scrub land and grassy meadows.
Likely lizards, snakes, rabbits, and maybe even some deer.

Start trail early in the day, wear lightweight long sleeves and pants, sunscreen, all the bugs are insane, trail by the peak doesn't look noticeable. 10mi — 5h 20m
