Description

Oak Trail starts at the junction with the Nature Loop Trail and heads north following Bell Creek. In the 19th century, this creek had a much higher flow and black bears used to hunt for spawning steelhead trout. The trail is well shaded with oak and sycamore trees, and sage, lemonade berry, and prickly pear cactus line the path. The trail ends at 0.8 miles at the junction with Star Rise Trail.
