Description

Oak Canyon Trail is a 1.3 mile long hike along the western edge of the park. The Trail follows a creek through oak groves past a couple side trails. There is an old cattle pond at the northern end of the trail that often draws wildlife when seasonal rains replenish the water.

Cut up Vista Ridge all the way to the lookout and came back down on Oak Canyon. Wish we had more time to look at the gardens at the visitor's center. 2.7mi
