Description

The Music Creek Trail is a great shortcut to reach the Pacific Crest Trail in the heart of the Russian Wilderness. The access road is in decent condition, but higher clearance vehicles are recommended due to some large ruts. The dirt trail is singletrack, and has a different path with more switchbacks than most maps indicate. The area burned in the past few years, but wildflowers and plants have been making their way back.

Flora & Fauna

Burned conifer forest with ferns, wildflowers, and lots of birds.
