Description

This moderate trail slopes downhill, and is mostly narrow singletrack with roots and rocks (slightly eroded in some areas), as it makes its way to intersect with Rorhbaugh Trail #508. The trail is located within a very pretty area with a stream running downhill towards the larger creek, and their confluence is a good spot to have lunch or take a rest.

The trail is not exposed, making hiking mostly cool and shady. Head past several very small waterfalls/creeks running down to Red Creek. There is a spot where the trail intersects with Red Creek where the waters are beautiful though rocky and this is a perfect place to dip your feet in.

This was steep. I just got back into backpacking and this was our last trail back up to the car. It was a challenge for me, I have to get in shape lol
