Similar to the surrounding trails and routes, this lies on private mining property. Any misuse could prevent future access.

Description

Head southwest from the saddle between Mount Sherman and Mount Sheridan, up to this nearly straight ascent. Given the unconsolidated nature of the scree and rock, there are a number of branching routes to the top. To prevent further impact, try to find the most well trod of the bunch and start the uphill trek.

At the top, you'll find a short saddle heading northwest to a large cairn and windbreak for cover. There are beautiful views west toward the Sawatch Range, south along the Mosquito Range, and north back toward Mount Sherman.
