This trail begins off of East Camino Cielo alongside a parking area and a forest service gate. Hike up the dirt road and enjoy views of the Santa Ynez Valley. About 1/4 of a mile into the trail, there is a diverging trail that takes you to Knapp's Castle. To continue on Fremont Fuel Break Road bear to the left. You can then follow the road down until you hit a trail junction with the Snyder Trail, where the Fremont Fuel Break Road comes to an end.
