Description

Beyond the chairlift off-ramp, near the summit pavilion and facing the spectacular view northeast toward the Fulton Chain of Lakes, Upper Gods Land (an intermediate ski trail in the winter) descends steeply down a grassy pitch. As the grade moderates and you encounter loose rocks/gravel, the trail merges into the beginner ski trail Challenger.

Use extra caution when descending this ski trail due to the steep pitch, loose rocks/gravel, and grass that can be slippery when wet and may also hide rocks, potholes, and other obstacles.

For an easier descending alternative, follow the chairlift back toward the front side of the mountain and bear hard right onto Challenger as it wraps around the mountain with an easy-to-moderate grade. As you reach the back side of the mountain, you'll see the Upper Gods Land ski trail merging into Challenger from the right.
