“A short trip leading to a small temple, Prasat Neak Pean (The Coiled Serpent) on an island.
”
This short trail starts off on the Grand Circuit road and heads south. The route follows a wooden walkway above a man-made marshy lake to the island of Jayatataka Baray. Neak Pean, located on this island, is comprised of ponds with a small Buddhist temple at its center. The temple is made from sandstone and has sculptures of serpents around its base.
