Description

The trail starts quickly after passing a gate on the right side. You'll see a trail marker early on, letting you know that you're in the right place.

From here, the trail follows a series of switchbacks all the way to the summit. Along the way, you'll be able to enjoy the different kinds of trees in the area.

At the end of the trail, you'll find two overlooks along with a bench, a few tables, and a restroom at the end of the road.

From the summit, enjoy two primary views: one of the Puget Sound, Seattle, and Mt. Rainier, and the other of the Olympics.

Used to prepare for Rainier so I carried 30# and just walked steady, not fast. 2mi — 2h 00m
