Overview

A great loop for a short trail run or hike with the family. There is a trailhead with a kids' bike pump track, and starting/ending here is a great way to make the loop. Or if you are staying at St. Louis Creek Campground, you could simply start hiking from your campsite.

Description

This bite-sized hike makes a loop around St. Louis Creek Campground by combining the Creekside Trail and Creekside Loop Trail. The names are a bit confusing, but navigation is not difficult once you are out on the trail. This loop makes a good option for campers or for anyone driving from Fraser out into the national forest. Scenery includes the flowing creek and surrounding meadows, wildflowers in summer, gold leaves in fall, and views of Byers Peak up the valley.
