Description

The Arbor Lane Loop Trail (recognizable at signposts with a reddish "blaze" and white tree logo) starts from the Chapin Forest Reservation parking lot off of Hobart Road. The Arbor Lane Loop Trail is crossed twice on the northern portion of the trail by the Beech Woods Loop Trail so pay attention to the signposts at the junctions and continue straight at each junction. The southern half of the trail between the parking lot and its intersection with the Arbor Lane/Lucky Stone Connector Trail doubles as a short section of the 1,444 mile Buckeye Trail which loops around the state.

The trail is also open to bikers and horses. Keep your eyes and ears open for bikers speeding along. If encountering horses, give them the right of way and step off the downhill side of the trail to allow the horse to pass. The trail is popular, so please be friendly and say "hi" to everyone else out enjoying the forest!
