Description
This loop includes the
Pinnacle Lookout, which is a highpoint on the escarpment above the township of Halls Gap in the Grampians National Park. The view from this location is spectacular.
This trail can be done in either direction and is well signposted in either direction. The beginning of the trail can be found behind the caravan park in the middle of Halls Gap.
In the clockwise direction, follow the signs up the front of the escarpment to the Pinnacle (a steep ascent). The track across the face of the escarpment is clearly marked. Once on top of the escarpment, follow the arrows to the
Pinnacle Lookout, then signs to the Wonderland Carpark, through Silent Street and the Grand Canyon, and back to Halls Gap past Splitters Falls.
The trail is quite rocky.
Flora & Fauna
Spring is a fantastic time to visit the Grampians when the wildflowers are out.
