A fun and winding trail with enough elevation gain to make it a challenge, and enough switchbacks to make it enjoyable.

Description

WTB can be accessed from the top of D4 or alternatively you can connect to the trail near its midway point from Akima's Way. This trail is a lovely singletrack that is all the more fun for being a bit overgrown around the edges. As you hike along, you'll at times feel like you are in a tunnel of baby aspen trees.

The trail starts with a slight downhill, winding through a more open area and at times crossing an old and faint doubletrack. Once you pass the junction with Akima's Way (stay left), you'll head down a small dip and then start climbing on a fun and winding singletrack, dodging around large boulders and sidestepping between young trees. What used to be a clear cut meadow is now in a stage of revitalization and re-grow.
