Description

Leaving the parking lot, this is the first trail you encounter, and it is marked with orange trail marker. The trail soon splits to form a loop. Following to the right you quickly come to an overgrown farmland that has gone to prairie. Enjoy the birds and continue on to where you connect with Hidden Hill Trail. Stay left and left again when you pass Homestead Trail. As you turn back toward the parking lot, you climb above Basin Creek on some cliffs before you drop back to where your started.
