Description

This trail features a mile-and-a-half mixture of doubletrack fire access road and occasional singletrack. The Suycott Valley Trail can be directly accessed from the Fortuna Saddle Trail or from the North Perimeter Trail and Rim Trail via connectors. It's a fun downhill to a short climb when traveling southeast, but a long 400-foot climb when traveling northwest. Along the way hikers will encounter a few moderately rocky section combined with erosion, ruts, and washout. The going may be a little tricky to navigate, but it makes for an enjoyable addition to your hike nonetheless.
