Description

This trail explores the west side of Brushy Peak Regional Preserve. After crossing the cow gate, the trail splits. Keep left and ascend the hill. Turn around occasionally to take in the view of Livermore. After a little over a mile, the trail makes a sharp right turn and descends steeply. After passing another cow gate, a small reservoir will be on the left. Follow the doubletrack and rejoin the trail at the first cow gate.

Flora & Fauna

There are numerous animals to be found, especially during the evening, including small critters, hares, rattlesnakes, toads, and birds.
