Description

Start at the top lot on the Blue Trail going north. Hike through the first rocky section and continue around the pond. Take a right up a little hill immediately after the pond and then continue down the hill through the trees. From there, make your way through another rocky section where there are large flat rocks. When you hit the wider doubletrack crossing the trail, take a right.

This section is very technical, hike it as a switchback around and over the rocks. Take the first left back into the trees. Stay left and wind through the trees. When you hit the opening to the powerline, take a right and follow the trail around the pond. There is a little creek crossing, then continue around the pond.

Follow the trail to the left as it leads you through the woods. When you round the corner to the right make sure to pass the first trail to your left and take the second trail. There are some big rocks to climb near the end and then you'll pop out of the woods back at the powerline. Climb the trails back up to the ridge trailhead marker. This trail is best as a downhill but is also fun to climb back up to the top parking lot.

The best way to hike Turkey is to start off heading downhill going north, then climb up on another trail.
