The park asks that those on foot travel in the opposite direction of cycling traffic.

Description

This trail is reached via the north end of the Saponi Loop Trail and offers increased climbing (relatively speaking), more undulating terrain, and a few technical obstacles. Like the Saponi Loop Trail, this trail is wide enough to accommodate multiple trail users, making it a good place to visit when the park is likely to be busy. Also like the Saponi Loop Trail, there is plenty of shade during the hot summer months in eastern NC.
