This trail starts from the road at the south end of the Elephant Terrace. Follow the raised causeway directly toward the center of Baphuon Temple. At the end of the causeway, there is a trail that turns left. Follow this trail as it meanders through fallen stone from an old wall to the back of the temple. Continue around the back of the temple and then around to the front. The trail leads through the forest, and back to the road. You'll see the raised causeway on your right and the exterior wall of the Royal Palace compound on your left. The trail is about 3/4 of a mile with no elevation gain.
