This hike starts from a point across the road from the south end of the Elephant Terrace. The trail is one mile round trip and offers no shade. The best time of the day to hike this is in the afternoon. The towers face west and the setting sun will be to your back (when facing the towers) which makes for great photos. The towers are in various stages of disrepair. The towers are divided in half by the road to the Victory Gate, six on each side. You can take side stop to North Khleang and South Khleang, also one on each side of the Victory Gate Road.
This is an easy trail with no elevation gain but the full exposure to the sun makes it seem more difficult.
