Family Friendly Well-maintained pathway, easy access, convenient for family YMCA members.

Description

This trail is a nice out-and-back that has a gentle climb on the way out and nice downhill on the way back to the parking lot. It has rivers, waterfalls, and nice, oldish growth forest, all of which are great escapes in an urban setting. The trail is well-maintained from beginning to end. If you are looking for a great trail experience close to Seattle, this is a good choice!

This is a great trail for hot days, as there is ample shade from the dense canopy and an ambient coolness from the nearby creek. There isn't much in terms of lookouts or vistas, but if you're in search of shelter and some quiet, this down-and-back route will provide.

Nice to have a long, well maintained trail in the neighborhood. Every step is different, not much to see but a nice walk. Some muddy areas. 4.3mi — 2h 30m
