Description

The 60-mile long Delaware Canal towpath is a National Recreation Trail that travels between Easton and Bristol. Back in the day, it was used by mule teams pulling boats along the canal. Today this route is used by hikers, runners, cyclists, and bird watchers.

The route is not technically challenging and gains less than 150 feet of elevation over its entire distance. It has several access points and crosses some diverse and varied terrain. Hikers will enjoy a variety of scenery no matter what portion of the trail they decide to hike.

For more information about the trail, visit the park's website.
