The trail starts at the north end of the campground near the Triple Shelter. From the parking lot, it curves north, then turns back south and proceeds through the forest lining the campground. It ends at the south end of the campground across the access road from the Nature Trail. This would be a pleasant hike on hot days because of the shade. White-tailed deer are frequently seen on this trail.

Cottonwood, oak, ash, chokecherry, white-tailed deer, woodland birds.
