Overview

A well-marked trail system that runs alongside a creek.

Description

This is a park owned by the Johnny Appleseed Metro Parks. In the Lima area, there are few hiking trails, as most "trails" are paved walkways with no grade.

This park offers some small creek crossings and sees very little traffic. It is very well kept. You'll want to avoid it during and after heavy rainfall as the trails run near a creek and low-lying areas. The trail can get muddy with standing water on it after rainfall.

The trails are marked, and this is an easy hike for kids. It can be broken down into two loops, Kendrick Woods - North Loop and Kendrick Woods - South Loop of roughly one mile each.
