This is an unpopulated and wild hike that combines the Millennium Trail and Merritt Ridge Trail for a challenging outing.

HikerS start on the Millennium Trail. This trail starts wide but soon becomes a singletrack that apparently is not taken care of much, making the hike challenging because the trail is sometimes blocked or in poor quality. Later in summer, plants make it hard to get through and block the view.

At just over half a mile, hikers will come to a junction for the loop portion of the Millennium Trail. Stay to the right here to continue on this hike.

Just past the one mile mark, hikers will continue onto the Merritt Ridge Trail, a very remote and challenging hike. It is, overall, a more challenging trail, and I did not see anyone else on this trail when hiking. It is perfect if one is seeking a hiking experience in solitude.
