Description

This trail begins at the Cecret Lake parking area or can be connected via Upper Albion Meadows Trail or Albion Basin Road. Enjoy the lush alpine meadows above Cecret Lake as the doubletrack continues into upper Albion Basin with a few steep sections.

The grade is gentle until mile 0.75 through mile 1.5, with a series of switchbacks with grades up to 20%. It levels off until mile 2, and another steep 0.5-mile climb follows. The trail climbs to just below Sugarloaf Mountain. From here, spectacular views can be seen back into Cottonwood Canyon, as well as views down into American Fork Canyon.
