Description

This trail begins shortly after you cross the Paluxy River on the Cedar Brake Outer Loop. Once you cross the river, you'll stay left when the trail cuts back to the right. This trail follows Denio Creek, which has varying amounts of water in it depending on the time of year. Like the rest of the trails in this area, the trail meanders through cedar groves and thickets with plenty of sunshine, so bring your sunscreen. This trail goes around the ridge and has a fairly flat elevation profile, making it accessible to most. Eventually, the trail leaves Denio Creek and heads back toward the southeast where you continue your tramp through the cedar forest. A short distance after crossing the Cedar Ridge Trail, you'll come to the terminus of this trail at the Buckeye Trail.

Nice uphill trail mostly along the side of the creek. Trail is well maintained and clearly defined. There are water crossings.
