Family Friendly All the former carriage roads in the Rockefeller State Park and Preserve are great for the whole family.

Description

Although named Big Tree Loop, only a small section of this trail is a loop, the rest heads south and only forms a loop if combined with other trails.

The loop section of Big Tree Loop connects Spook Rock Trail with Peggy's Way Trail, and (via a very short connector) the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. Old Croton Aqueduct Trail is in a different park.

The "handle" of the "lollipop" trail heads south and connects to the Pocantico River Trail before ending at Peggy's Way Trail and another connection to the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail.
