Description

The Fern Gully Trail is an easy trail with a gentle uphill on the way out and an easy descent on the way back. It follows and old sawmill track that meanders along a stream. The forest here is regrowing after being extensively logged, but you'll still be amazed by the lush setting and dense bush that has already grown back. There is a picnic table at the far point of the trail so bring a snack or a lunch to enjoy at the halfway point if you so desire.

Flora & Fauna

Regenerating native bush. Yes, you'll find plenty of the trail's namesake ferns here.
