A short and easy track that would make a great hike for the entire family.
Description
At just over a mile in length, this easy track takes hikers through a lovely forest that demonstrates the type of vegetation that re-grows in the wake of a glacier's retreat. The glacial moraine that has been carved by the retreat of Fox Glacier is now a lush and forested walkway. At the end of the track, you can continue onto Peter's Pool Track for a visit to Peter's Pool, a kettle lake.
