Family Friendly Kids can definitely handle this trail's mellow grades and short length.

Description

Trail 7 follows an old logging road from "The Island" to "Penn Station" on a wide and mellow ridgeline. The grades are gentle, except for a few moderate spots, as it travels down long straight corridors lined with trees. The surface is mostly hard pack, but there are some bits of rock mixed in.

Be alert for descending mountain bikers as this is a popular option and they may be traveling fast.
