The trail is very well worn, offers great shade, and the Sealers Cove Campsite is very common amongst families.
Overnight hikers must check in at Tidal River.
Description
This trail is a cool descent along narrow singletrack from the Telegraph Saddle Carpark down to Sealers Cove and through to the Sealers Cove Campsite. It is common amongst families traveling with children to stay overnight at Sealers Cove, and it is often used as the first leg of the Southern Circuit of Wilsons Promontory which touches Sealers Cove, Refuge Cove, Little Waterloo Bay, the Lightstation, and Oberon Bay.
Running stream water is available at multiple points along the descent. A narrow river crossing separates the beach from the Sealers Cove Campsite at the finish. Check the tide schedule before embarking. In spring, at high tide, this crossing can be waist deep!
Flora & Fauna
Possum and wallaby known to feast on your breakfast or dinner scraps!
