Description

The trail begins at Alma Drive, at the terminus of the Suncreek Trail where it follows the adjacent neighborhood for a short distance. You then quickly lose sight of all civilization as you travel into a very dense bottomland hardwood forest that is representative of areas surrounding Rowlett Creek. The path continues on through the forest providing some beautiful views during spring and fall as the forest comes to life with color. After about 1/3 mile you reach the entrance to some singletrack dirt trails that allows you to get a close up view of Rowlett Creek. You continue through the forest until the trail terminates at Rollins Drive. This is an excellent hike and definitely provides you with seclusion and some beautiful color.
