Description

Overall, this is a pretty easy trail that loops around a hill. The western portion mostly faces out towards Lake Travis with very good views of the surrounding Central Texas Hill country. The trail thins and is somewhat hard to find at places. Most of the trail has little tree cover. A couple of lookout benches are set up along the way.

The trail has many juniper ash trees around but is mostly barren beyond that. Connect to either the Cactus Rocks Trail or Ridgeline Trail to get to this trail and make for a longer hike.

Flora & Fauna

Juniper ash. Not much else.
