Description
From the
Prince Henry Cliff Walk, the Dardenelles Pass Trail descends steeply down to the wooded Jamison Valley. Once down the steep start of the trail, the hiking is significantly easier as the trail winds alongside a crystal clear stream under the dense canopy of Leura Forest.
Near the end of the trail, you'll pass the Giant Stairway which you can climb back up to
Prince Henry Cliff Walk or a short ways further on, the trail ends at
Federal Pass where you can continue on your adventure deeper into the Blue Mountains.
The trail makes for a great loop option when combined with the Giant Stairway and
Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Just be sure to save enough energy to climb back up the cliff!
Flora & Fauna
Eucalyptus, coachwood, sassafrass, and lilly pilly. Lyre birds, sulphur-crested cockatoo, and bell birds.
