This is inside Perrot State Park so you'll need a Wisconsin State Parks day or annual pass to access it.

Description

This is a short loop that connects to the other cross-country ski/hiking trails in the park. It is a short extension of the Perrot Cross Country/Hiking Trail Central Loop, and is a good way to continue your hike for a short while.

The cross country portions of this trail function as a groomed cross-country skiing trail in the winter and as a hiking trail in the warmer months. During winter months, the trail is fenced off at points where it intersects with dedicated foot trails but park rangers mark alternate routes that allow hikers to circumvent the skiing trails.
