Description

The Fortini Trail is the quickest and easiest way to get to the Santa Teresa County Park trails from the Almaden Valley side of Santa Teresa County Park.

The Fortini Trail starts from Stile Ranch Trail near a small parking area. For about the first 0.4 miles, the trail goes along a lightly-used road that borders a sparsely populated area. Homes and out buildings can be seen.

About 0.4 miles from the trailhead, Fortini Trail leaves the populated area behind and enters park land along a creek - Santa Teresa Creek. Fortini Trail follows the wooded banks of Santa Teresa Creek until it ends at the Mine Trail, a major trail in Santa Teresa County Park.
