Overview

A strenuous hill climb, this route is great for those seeking a tough workout, and a stellar viewpoint.

Description

This is a great out-and-back route that follows the full Mount Morrison trail. It's a fantastic, but sustained climb, followed by a quick descent. Be careful coming down, especially in the first 500 meters of the descent. The terrain at the top is 3rd class at times.

Start at Entrance 4 of Red Rocks on Titans Rd. There is no trailhead marker, just a generic trail sign to the left 50 meters after turning onto Titans Rd. The trail is easy to follow all the way up, and you won't come upon any other trails.

Once you've enjoyed the views from the top of the trail, return the way you came.
