This trail is very exposed so don't forget to take water, sunscreen, and a hat.
Description
Access this trail from parking lot #3 on the north side of White Domes Road. The trailhead is across the road.
The trail is easy and everybody can make it as it's only 0.6 miles one way. It is well-marked. First, there is a section with deep sand before some solid rock slopes. Heading east/southeast, it mostly downhill until Fire Wave Rock.
Fire Wave itself is beautiful! The natural patterns in the rock and shape of the formation really makes you feel like you’re standing on a wave. It is well-worth the trip.
