Description
This is a short hike around an interesting rock formation at the eastern edge of the Valley of Fire State Park. The highlight of the loop is the Elephant Rock (you can't miss it), which is right next to the road a short distance into the loop.
The trail surface is mostly sandstone with a few sandy areas.
