Description
A fun maze of short trails with varying terrain that is bordered by Rowlett Creek. There are several access points to the creek from the trail. These trails are also home to a number of check-in points for the only orienteering course in the Dallas area. For more information on the course see
plano.gov/946/Trail-Maps and scroll to the bottom.
The trail begins just west of the Rowlett Creek bridge on the paved northern section of the
Bob Woodruff Trail. The terrain varies, but most trails are dirt singletrack. There are portions of trail that travel over boardwalks in areas that retain water year round.
Regardless of the direction you start, all trails are interconnected. There are multiple entrance and exit points on the north and west side. Some deadfall and other tripping hazards are present in areas. The trail is open to hiker and equestrian use, so mind your step.
