Description

Turning southwest on the Ridge Loop Trail leads down to the lake shore. There are several places to get views across the lake at that level. When the trail turns back to the northeast, the trail climbs with a steep section that leads to an area with a great view across the lake. This is a great place to take a break!

From there, the trail meanders through grasses and woods to return to the Northwest Trail.

Beyond the bench are several rock ledges that offer good seating and better views of one of the prettiest lakes in North Texas.
