Description

Pig Iron, one of the longest trails in Tannehill Ironworks Historic State Park, is a great intermediate hike with scenery that changes as you progress along the trail and just enough elevation change to keep you pushing yourself. Look for small creeks on the north side of the park that only run during rainy weather.

Flora & Fauna

Pine, oak, shrubbery, wildflowers, deer, fox, coyote, squirrels, and chipmunks.
