Family Friendly This is a flat easy loop around a beautiful lake, making a great loop for all.

Description

This trail is an easy stroll around the lake. Parking is available at the visitor center, and you can start off in either direction. If you go clockwise you'll have to share the road with very infrequent cars for a bit. The road then turns into a service road that runs along the entire western side of the lake. At the north end, the trail leaves the service road and becomes singletrack. It will briefly leave the edge of the lake and head inland before returning to roads and the visitor center.

Did it slow. Stopped for lunch on boulders next to lake. It was fun. note: we did the loop clockwise and hit the hill at about 3.5 miles. If do… 4.2mi
