Description

From the junction with the Skyline to the Sea Trail, the Hollow Tree Trail climbs up a large redwood-filled ravine. Near the top of the ravine, the faint Hollow Tree Trail Connector heads south to Middle Ridge Road. Climb to the long-abandoned Johansen Shingle Mill and then head east, winding along the hillside for 1.5 miles to the end of the trail at Lane Trail Camp.
