Description

This wash trail is used by many hikers and runners instead of the western edge of the Blevins Trail since it runs mostly parallel, but is unpleasant to ride on a mountain bike. (The Blevins Trail is used to get to Moon Rock Trail, which is nice for biking.) The printed maps reflect the trail as defined here, but the Google Maps show the trail winding slightly different and having a trailhead at the A-10 staging area. You can definitely park at that area and take the connector to Blevins Trail / Crismon Wash Trail, but you have to head back east once you join up with Blevins Trail in order to get to the proper Crismon Wash Trail. Note that there is what looks like a trail junction on Blevins Trail right after it bends to the east, but that is not the proper wash trail. Look for the one with the signage.
