Description

This orange-blazed trail starts from a parking area on Clove Rd/27 and quickly climbs the western ridge of Schunnemunk Mountain on a large switchback trail. The trail then runs along the ridge offering some lovely views of the mountain and to the west. Finally, the trail terminates at the yellow-blazed Jessup Trail.

Awesome hike up along the Western Ridge. Great Views. Beginning of trail not so bad uphill but the end is a scramble up rock scree and a rock face. 4.2mi — 5h 00m
