Description

This is yet another red-blazed trail in Bear Mountain State Park. The south end of the trail connects to 202/9W/Liberty Drive. The trail goes up and over Dunderberg Mountain, but at a low point between The Timp and Bald Mountain. Access to either is available on the Rampo-Dunderberg Trail, also red.

The trail then descends into a valley with a pleasant brook before passing by some historical sites. The trail ends in just about the middle of the park after passing a number of ski trails/forest roads. However, you can continue on 1777 West Trail to the Appalachian Trail and Harriman State Park.
